I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. I am inspired by the many unknown people who make a huge difference in poor communities all over the world. They do not do it for any reward but they have a passion that is driven by their understanding of their place in society. Some of them are popular, some are not. The late Princess Diana was such a good person. She was committed to helping people.
